Welcome to our website. Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) of the Queensland Baseball Scorers Statistical website.

1. Best way to view this website.

If you are using one of the more recent small screen computers, I would recommend pressing your F11 key to view in full screen. To return to normal press F11 again.

If you are using a PC or a laptop with a screen of 15 inches (approximate diaginal measurement) like me. I still do as above and press F11. Doing this will temporarily remove all the things your browser may be showing that wastes page space. Such a browser bar, and toolbar like google search engine etc. Then depending on the version of the browser you are using, try clicking the magnifying glass at bottom right of screen (If its there) you can then expand the webpage. I recommend and use 125% magnification. This may improve readability of game stats etc.

Next option: - Some browser such as the new Flock browser (get it here)allow an additional feature, that lets you click on a websites window and view just that window, rather than have everything around it. Some people have mentioned that it would be good to view our stats pages in the whole page view. Well flock and some other browsers allow this to be done. To do it in Flock, point your mouse on the area of the screen you want to see in whole page view eg: click this link > http://www.qldbaseballscorers.com/contents/en-us/Econfstat.htm then on the right part of that screen right click, choose "This Frame" and then choose "Show only this frame"

The screen will show you the frame in a whole screen view...

 1a. Don't worry if you like Internet Explorer, because you DO NOT have to uninstall Windows Explorer to try the Flock browser, you can have both or many browsers on one computer. Just keep Internet Explorer as your default browser if you like,

2. How do I navigate the website?

A. Use the website like any other internet website. Click links in the menu to the left, or from the horizontal menu across the top of the main page. Click home if you don’t see menus. The menus will take to you various pages of the website, and the menus are self explanatory for ease of use.

3. How do I use the FORUM?

A. The Forum is a way of creating a comment on this website. After clicking Forum & Chat from the side menu, click on "REGISTER" if you are a new user, or "LOGIN" if you are already registered. Registration is free of charge, and we welcome your input. All it requires is for you to choose a username and password during the registration process, and then answering the activation email we will then send you. Forum links are straight foreward, "Home" to goto home page, "Portal" to see general posting from administration. "Calendar" to see upcoming events, "Gallery" (Images), "FAQ" are Forum Frequently Asked Question, "Search" use to search forums and postings, "Memberlist" to view a list of members, "Usergroups" to view a list of usergroups, "Profile", used to change your personal details, "Login/Logout". We would like to get all scorers involved in this new forum.

4. PDF Files are small or hard to read.

A. Many PDF files are used on this website. To view PDF correctly you may need to do the following. 

You will need a PDF file viewer to open the file. Download Adobe by clicking here.

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, we recommend you open the Adobe reader, click EDIT, then click PREFERENCES, then click INTERNET. Please ensure that "Display PDF in browser is unchecked.

This will enable correct viewing of our PDF files on your computer.

5. How do I purchase books?

A. From the main home page, you find the book you want to buy, change the number of books you wish to purchase, and then click the small shopping cart icon to the right of the book you are purchasing. Then click "Add to Basket" To add another book/s to this purchase click "Continue Shopping". or to proceed with this purchase as listed, click "Go to checkout. Next, click arrow next to "State Select" to choose your state by clicking on it, then click arrow next to "Select a shipping method", (Economy). We are currently using a flat rate of postage, determined by the amount of items you buy.

Next read the Terms and Conditions, and click the "I accept the terms and conditions"  button.

Next select a payment option, we currently allow payment by cheque or on invoice, then scroll down the page to enter in your personal details, ensuring postal address is entered correctly. You may use the "Your notice to us box to enter a small message to accompany your order"

Click selection to remember your details for future visits if you will be ordering from us again, to save entering your above details again next time.

Click "Review Secure Order" If all details are correct click "Send Order Securely"

That’s it, you’re done, and can either exit the website or continue browsing. Check your email as we will send a copy of the order to your entered email address, to confirm the order.
